Access from Colombo via southern expressway is best. It will be two and a half hours from Katunayaka International Airport. Use the Southern expressway and exit at Matara. Turn left on the A2 and travel towards Galle. Lookout for the 152km post and you will find the sign board for Villa Atulya after 500 meters on the sea side. Turn in and the Villa is at the end of the road on your left by the sea.
The Villas are located in Mirissa where the deep blue waters of the Indian ocean lap at the edge of the property and the famous stilt fisherman will offer the catch of the day. The surrounding area is full of surprises for the young and the old. There are rock pools full of colourful fish, deep sea turtles seeking sand to bury their eggs, lobster fishermen and sandy stretches of beach for long walks. The area is ideal for surfing, snorkelling and other water sports. Easy access to boats that will take you on whale watching or deep sea fishing expeditions. You can also explore the surrounding village and the Buddhist temples or simply meet some of the friendly folk always ready to offer a friendly smile.
